Using this site means you accept what follows. It is short, because the site is free and there is not much to agree to.
The estimates are estimates
Avocal identifies food from a photo and estimates calories and macros. It is a model looking at a picture. It cannot weigh your portion, it cannot see the oil in the pan, and it does not know the recipe. Treat the numbers as a useful approximation, not a measurement.
Nothing here is nutritional, dietary or medical advice. If you are managing a medical condition, counting for a clinical reason, or have a food allergy, talk to a professional and do not rely on a photo estimate.
The calculators
The TDEE, BMR, macro and deficit calculators use standard published formulas. Those formulas are population averages and your body is not an average. Use the output as a starting point and adjust based on what actually happens.
Acceptable use
Use the tools for their purpose. Do not attempt to overload, scrape or break the service, and do not upload images you have no right to use.
Availability
The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will be available or that any given analysis will succeed. It depends on a third-party model that can be slow, wrong or temporarily unavailable.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on an estimate from this site. It is a free tool for a rough number.
